When this wasnt a problem?

When you didnt care? 

When the pleasures were all you’d seek?

When it wasnt hollow?

When she’d come in at night (and so late at night it was)

When she’d come in and simply… light the candles?

And it’d be enough?

When you didnt crave?

When you weren’t disgusted by the face?

When you convinced yourself chaining yourself would be the best thing that happened to you?

And was it? Being thrown into the soft warm water?

For the first time in a long time, unaware that the Current has changed.

It outwitted its master. At long last.

It evolved and you didnt realize it. You built too many dams to try to dry the river.

To forget. 

But in forgetting you forgot it’s power.
And it’s out for revenge. 

You remember it now. Dont act like it never happened.

It wont come.

I simply wont allow it.
